Today – I put the heat on for the first time this season. It was a bit nippy in the morning and the apartment was about 64 degrees. My sister helped me take the air conditioner out of the window. Fall is Here! I love the fall. It is my favorite season. The leaves are starting to turn and there is a scent of pine needles in the air.
A Facebook friend from Germany – posted that today was the 20th Anniversary of the Re-Unification! I cannot believe that it has been 20 years already! Time certainly has flown! I have a piece of the Berlin wall in a film container that a friend’s brother brought back at the time. I believe he had been there when the wall was first being taken down. It must have been an exciting time. Congratulations to Germany on this 20th Anniversary of them becoming whole again.
