Spring is Coming!
February in New Hampshire has been about 6+ degrees warmer than average. The past couple weeks have been pretty mild. Maple trees are being tapped all over the state. There are many Maple Sugar Shacks around the Boscawen-Penacook area. I love seeing the buckets. Next month – there will be open houses at local sugar shacks. I love going Ledge Top that is right up the road from me. They were boiling this weekend. I love the scent of maple in the air and the steam coming from the roof. Yum! I am hungry now! Today is Mardi Gras – Lent starts tomorrow. I am still trying to decide if I am giving up anything – most likely not – but I will be doing a couple things for sure – exercise will be one of them.
