Walt Disney World – Such a Magical Place

It had been 6 years since I visited Walt Disney World. I love the Animal Kingdom for all the wonderful animals that you can see roaming during the safari ride and in special exhibits that really mimic the wild in most cases. I managed some decent photos this time since I brought a dSLR with me.

It truly is a place where even someone at 61 years old can be a kid. I loved the new Star Wars Park – Black Spire Outpost. I have been a Star Wars fan since the beginning.  I also enjoyed riding some of the classic rides again.  I went with my friends Tim & Dianne.  We had a great time and the weather was fairly decent – not too hot or humid!

We were there November 9 – 15.  We stayed the first night at the All Star Movies which had been renovated and are pretty nice!  The rest of the trip we stayed at the Beach Club Resort.  That is a great resort – really close (walking distance) to EPCOT and Hollywood Studios.  The Food & Wine  Festival was at EPCOT so there was very little Christmas Decorations up yet.  Hollywood Studios and The Magic Kingdom had the most decorations up.  On our last day at the Beach Club – the resort had been decorated through the night was filled with Christmas decorations when we were leaving.  Disney does a great job decorating.

It was such a great time. I won’t wait 6 years next time.
