Madame Sharri Forest
I am posting this on 10/18/2021 – but my adventure to Madame Sharri Forest was on 10/16/2021. I have wanted to visit this interesting place and ruins for years. This year, part of the stairway and one of the arches collapsed. I was very disappointed. I saw that there were still a good part of the structure still standing and worth the trip. My Uncle Richard and Aunt Martha are here from Michigan for a visit. I asked if they would like to go to a trip to the Keene area of New Hampshire and go to Madame Sharri’s Forest with me. They were up for the adventure as was my Aunt Mary Jane. We had a great day and the weather was very mild for the day. It was in the 60s when we were are the Forest; but it was 75 by the mid afternoon. We have had a very warm fall in New Hampshire. We still haven’t had a frost yet! Weird! We also went to Washington, East Washington, Stoddard, and Bradford. The foliage was pretty good (not fantastic – but we saw some color. Below is a link to my Flickr photo stream album for the Madame Sharri Forest photos. Not the shots of family – just what I have on my Flickr. I have reached my limit for photos right now on this blog server – so I either have to upgrade or delete photos I have. I hope you enjoy the ones that I have on my photostream on Flickr.
Have a great day!
