Let the Holiday Season Begin!
Thanksgiving is over (and yes, I decorate for Thanksgiving)! We had a great Thanksgiving. My mother hosted a small group (all vaccinated and all but one even boosted) of seven. My sister Jackie worked so she came over later. My mom ordered the meal from Market Basket and it was great!
Today, I am taking down my Thanksgiving decorations and slowly getting out my Christmas decorations. I have already put out my lights on the porch and decorated my doors. My Christmas/Winter bedspread and pillow shams are on the bed. My coffee table has a Christmas table cloth on it and my Advent Wreath is out. I have begun writing Christmas cards. I have mailed the first 12 (mostly to folks who live the furthest away).
It is currently raining (better than snowing); however, after sunset we may be getting a little snow. I don’t care as long as it stays a few inches or less.
I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving! Happy Holidays to All!
